Privacy Policy
How Opsian Technologies collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to this website and from customers engaging with our products.
Who we are
Opsian Technologies LLC (“Opsian,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates this website and the products and services described on it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you visit our site, contact us, or engage with our products.
We are based in the United States and serve customers across hospitality, healthcare, financial services, and enterprise operations.
Information we collect
We collect information in three categories:
- Information you provide directly. When you contact us, request a demo, subscribe to updates, or apply for a role, you may give us your name, business email, company, role/title, and the message you send. We collect only what is necessary to respond to your inquiry.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we automatically collect limited technical information — including IP address, device type, browser, referring URL, and pages viewed — through standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics.
- Customer environment data. When a customer deploys an Opsian product, the product processes operational data from that customer’s environment under a separate written agreement. The handling of that data is governed by the Data Processing Addendum executed with the customer, not by this Privacy Policy.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries, demo requests, and other communications.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the website and our products.
- Send service updates, security notices, and (where permitted) marketing.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and analytics
The Opsian website uses a small number of essential cookies to keep the site running correctly, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect site functionality.
Sharing and disclosure
We share information only with the parties needed to deliver our services and to operate the business:
- Service providers. Email delivery, cloud hosting, analytics, and support tooling vendors, each bound by appropriate data-protection terms.
- Professional advisors. Legal, accounting, and compliance advisors when required.
- Legal authorities. When we are required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Opsian, our customers, or others.
- Business transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We protect the information we hold using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the data and the risk to the individuals it describes. Access is restricted to personnel who require it for their work, and is logged.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever become aware of a security incident that materially affects your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
International transfers
Opsian operates from the United States, and information we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we put in place appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your information, and the right to object to certain processing or to data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, email legal@opsian.io. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
Children
Opsian’s website and products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice on the website.
